So how is the sorting supposed to work?

Looks like the sorting for contacts is working via the Navigation bar but sorting doesn’t seem to work when you select city or company or other tags.

Bugs
- In contacts sort admin menu, First Name is not selectable. It always reverts back to Last Name
- Search seems to be broken. For example, if you search for the city, no results are returned. In fact, non of the post tags are searchable.

Leftovers from testing
- There is a “TEST” post tag left over in 1.2.1. Don’t know if it was intentional or not.

Hi David– it is absolutely amazing how quick you test RoloPress. ;)

-Currently sorting works on the Contact (/type/contact) and Company(/type/company) archive pages only.
-In contacts sort admin menu, First Name seems like it’s not sticking, but on my tests RoloPress actually sorts by it correctly. Please let us know if you see different.
-Search is an issue, since WP by default doesn’t search custom fields or taxonomies. We’re working on a fix. FYI there is really no need to search by a city or state (/state/ny) since you can just click on that field and all the relevant info pops up.
-TEST is unintentional and will be removed in the next version.

Keep up the good work!

I tried this on my test system…a clean rolopress and wordpress install and the behavior is the same. The sort on firstname doesn’t stick.

If would be great if the whole site inherited the sort function across the site including search, city, whatever…

Have you also thought about grouping all the rolopress configuration into a single parent menu in the admin menu vs having them scattered across the admin menus?
