FRESH INSTALL
1) Upload via FTP RoloPress CORE theme
2) Upload via FTP RoloPress DEFAULT theme and activate
3) Goto SETTINGS > PERMALINKS: click “Save Changes”
4) Goto APPEARANCE > WIDGETS: widgets have been preset in each widget area. You may need to open each and just press “Save”
UPGRADE
1) Using an FTP client, delete your current RoloPress CORE and DEFAULT folders
2) Upload via FTP RoloPress CORE theme
3) Upload via FTP RoloPress DEFAULT theme.
4) Deactivate RoloPress DEFAULT by activating another theme (not RoloPress CORE)
5) Reactivate RoloPress Default
This is necessary since many of the setup procedures in RoloPress fire on theme activation.
In the future we’ll make this easier… we promise.

Just a thought, but you may want to take steps 3 and 4 on the new installation steps and add them to your Installation documentation (http://rolopress.com/documentation/installation). That way, new users who are evaluating your software don’t have to hunt through the forums or guess at this.

It says that it can’t find a css file?
Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme install failed.
Any thoughts?

@narkan– do NOT use the WordPress theme installer. Use standard FTP:http://rolopress.com/documentation/installation
