Great product. I was happy to find Rolopress just two days ago, and now to see that it has just released is great. I have mustered through a few things, and have it working pretty well. However, I am having difficulty editing a contact.
If I click on Edit, I get a blank form, like I’m entering in a new contact. And if I just fill in the one field, or all of the fields, I get a message back stating:”There was some problem in inserting the contact info”, with no change in the contact information. Additionally I see that next to each field there is a pencil that pops up and allows you to edit an individual field. This works fine, but for phone fields, that were initially left blank, the pencil does not show up, and that phone cannot be input into the contact details. Fields left blank, like AIM do have the pencil show up and allow for editing. Why not the phones?

Kyle– Under the contact or company information, there is a link marked “edit”… obviously you need to be logged in to view it. Just click on it and you will be brought to the appropriate page. Any info you already entered so be visible there, and there will be room for you to fill in the other fields.
The “Edit Company” and “Edit Contact” pages that are displayed in the Pages widget won’t work directly. The item ID needs to be passed to it, so that’s why you need to use the “edit” link.
In the next version we’ll hide those pages in the widget to avoid confusion.
Also, the “pencil” icon for the social fields should not be showing up. This is a bug that will be fixed in the next version.

I’m using the 1.1… This is strange because I’m able to edit infos in the “Contact details” widget.

Hi Anthony– after looking at your site, you just needed to set your permalink structure to: %postname%.
It’s now fixed.
