RoloPress Release Delayed… But It Will Be Worth It!
By SlipFire | Published November 17, 2009
At WordCampNYC, we demonstrated RoloPress Beta .1 and received some great feedback from the attendees, as well as Matt Mullenweg, the founding developer of WordPress. Our discussion with Matt provided us with some unique ideas regarding custom fields and custom taxonomies that we are eager to implement.
So, first the good news; RoloPress will be an even better product than we demonstrated at WordCampNYC. These changes will allow RoloPress to take advantage of the WordPress taxonomy system in some unique ways, and provide a better overall user experience.
And, now the bad news; we need to delay the launch of RoloPress until we make these changes. Unfortunately, they would not be backwards compatible with the current database structure, and needs to be rewritten.
We will post more information about a time-line as we get closer to release. Thank you so much for your patience and support… it will be worth it!
